The Clean Energy Solutions Center, in partnership with Mission Innovation, is hosting a no-cost webinar to provide an overview of goals and vision on clean energy innovation in Mexico, describing the current programs and Mexico's activities on Mission Innovation.

The webinar will provide updated information on the Mission Innovation initiative and the innovation challenge that Mexico is co-leading: to discover advanced energy materials.

Mexico's Ministry of Energy (SENER) will present a review of the key policies and programs aimed at talent development, energy research and innovation in Mexico, including Mexico's $7 million (USD) clean energy prize. In addition, officials will provide a description of the recent investment in the Clean Innovation Centres (CEMIES) for geothermal, solar, wind, ocean energy, smart grids, and the forthcoming CCUS Centre.

The presentations will be followed by an interactive question and answer session with the audience.
